The Pelloni group, which has been working in the cheese field for more than 100 years, in order to give evidence to his clients of the high-quality level of his production and his pursuit for improvement, decided to walk the road of volunteer certification.
To reach this goal, both the cheese industry and the I Giardini del Duca agricultural company certified their own Quality Management System according to the specification of the UNI EN ISO 9001/2000 rules.
Other than the quality of his productions and the control performed at every step of the productive chain, the Pelloni Group underlines his dedication to respect the environment: at this purpose the new goal has been the environmental certification according to the specification of the UNI EN ISO 14001 rules.
To give more concreteness and evidence at this project nearby the I Giardini del Duca agricultural company has been realized a plant for the production of biogas, resulting from the anaerobic fermentation of zootechnic refluxes and intended to the production of electrical energy.
The group have also achieved another important goal: the Ecoprofit environmental certification (master plan proposed in Italy by the Modena district, that saw the partecipation of 12 companies) by the Pelloni cheese factory and by I Giardini del Duca agricultural company.
The efforts are now dedicated at the achievement of the Alimentar Safety Management System according to the ISO 22000 rules.
